This winter, the 6th Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival will revolve around the theme of "Happy Ice and Snow, Chasing Dreams in Asian Winter Games". The park starts from the Harbin Songhua River Railway Bridge in the east and ends at the Songhua River River-crossing Cableway in the west, creating two major areas in the south and north of the Songhua River. The total area of the park is up to 1.4 million square meters. A Sunshine Avenue is set up in the two areas, using ice dragon boats as vehicles to connect the two areas.
There are over 40 interactive entertainment experience projects, of which more than one-third are free. Ice football fields, ice volleyball courts, and ice skate rinks have been built in the park. The popular projects of "Happy Snow Slide" and "Super Ice Slide" are continued to be built in the next few days.
The Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival will continue to construct the 4th Stalin Creative Snow Sculpture Park, which is 800 meters long from east to west along the south bank of the Songhua River.
The 6th Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival will also organize some sports events, such as the Youth Extreme Challenge Ice and Snow Obstacle Race, Rallycross, etc. In addition, a winter swimming experience area will be created, and an international winter swimming competition is planned to be held.
