World's Largest Indoor Ski Resort is under Construction in Harbin

In these days, an indoor ski resort is under construction in Harbin, the capital city of China's northern province Heilongjiang. The resort is located in Wanda Cultural Tourism City in Songbei District. The workers are now installing the steel structures. According to the builders and the operators, the ski resort will be the largest one of its kind in the world. It will add an excellent ski place for the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. In winter, tourists who come to Harbin for the festival need not go to other ski resorts at Harbin's outskirt or the nearby cities to enjoy skiing.

The ski resort will build 6 beginner to advanced-level ski runs. Each measures 484 meters in length and 150 meters in maximum span. All the ski runs will have a snow-resistance and wind tunnel testing before they are put into use.
