On Feb 8, we learned from Harbin Sun Island Scenic Area that 9 giant snow sculptures will be displayed on Sun Island, the venue of the 27th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo.
At this writing, the snow sculptures in the park have been repaired twice on the big figure. As the day grows warmer and in order to show the perfect snow sculptures to the visitors, the park invites Heilongjiang's famous snow sculptors and more than 100 fine craftsmen to repaire all the snow sculptures. Meanwhile, the sculptors will create 9 new giant snow sculptures in the park, including the Purple Air Comes from the East (a propitious omen), Zhong Kui (one of the Chinese folk gods), the Wind of the White Horse (Piao Feng), Dèse Mouse, and so on.
According to the staffs of the park, a new snow sculpture, the Dream of the Goddess of Beauty will be a new highlight of the park. This amazing sculpture has three faces, one is a dreamy girl, the other one is a spirit with a body of mantis, the third one is a perfect goddess.
